Since February this year, we have made sensor measurements in stores in Denmark. We measure both in shops located in street level and shops in shopping centers.

The collected data shows both when the most customers are in the store during the different week days - and please note, that our sensors collect data from both customers and visitors in the shops, that are not buying anything.

We can also document stores' ability to convert passers-by to customers. The people who pass a storefront are potential customers. How many people choose to go into the store change over time.

There are plenty of reasons why sales in a store fluctuate from week to week: campaigns, weather, offers, events, season fluctuations and new items in the store. Another matter is how good a store is to convert passers-by to customers who actually enter the store?

Is it an upward or downward curve? We can answer that!
